Gingerbread Man here again! Okay, so I snuck out once more after school. I thought I'd post about my adventures before Ms. Champ changes her blog password! I talked to the other classroom Gingerbread kids, and we decided to go explore around our campus after the teachers left. We went up to the front office, but it is still under construction, so we couldn't get in through the front door. This worker was nice enough to let me try out the pneumatic drill though! Now that was fun!
We all met up on the bench in the front office to decide where to go and to see who was around.
Ms. Cross, the School Secretary was working away! I tried to help, but I think I was distracting her.
Ms. Butler, the Principal's Secretary was also working hard. These two ladies run the school, so I left them alone to take care of business.
Ms. Villemaire and Ms. Ryan (our Principal and Assistant Principal) were meeting in their office, and they stopped for a kiss. (Between you and me, I think they were both hungry, and I was getting a little nervous about their mouths being so close!)
Next, we hit the playground! I love the spinners! ....but I got pretty dizzy and didn't feel very well, so I made my way into the library.
Thank goodness Nurse Sansom was in there! She gave me some oxygen and took care of me until I felt better. She told me that maybe I shouldn't use the spinners if they make me sick.
Ms. McAlister, our Librarian, read me a book until I felt better. She reads with such good voice, and knows so much about books! (Did you notice she's reading a book by one of our favorite authors? Mo Willems!)
Before I left, I got to meet Scaredy Squirrel. I LOVE his stories! He seemed a little (can you guess?) scared of me!
I decided I had enough, so I went back to our nice, safe, cozy classroom, where Mr. Robert, our custodian was cleaning. He is terrific!
Whew! I think I've had enough adventures for now, but you never know when I'm going to get an itch to go exploring again! If you were a Gingerbread Kid on the loose, where would you go?
