After learning about the moon, the students polled their friends as to whether or not they would like to go to the moon, then they were filmed answering the question "Would you like to go to the moon? Why or why not?" These are their insightful responses. What about you? Would you like to go to the moon? Why or why not? Leave your answer in the comments.! The Birth of a Star The kids loved learning about objects in space. We learned that stars (like our sun) are formed from swirling gas & dust particles that pull together and heat up. Behold, "The Birth of a Star" by Ms. Champ's Nearly-ready for Prime Time Players. We also loved listening to They Might Be Giant's song "The Sun is a Mass of Incandescent Gas". (One of my all time favorites!) Enjoy.
